Two Rivers Labs guarantees that at the time of pickup/delivery, the dog is in good health to the best of our knowledge. The buyer has four(4) days from the time of receipt of dog to have the dog examined by a veterinarian. It is strongly suggested that all purchasers do so in order to avoid this agreement to be nullified. If at the time of the vet check, the puppy is determined to be seriously ill from symptoms that are undoubltedly the result of a hereditary condition, the new owner is to return the puppy along with any other accompanying information within two days. A warranty against all life altering genetic disease is provided for one(1) year after the date of birth. Should a genetic disease be discovered during this time that will greatly shorten the life of , or greatly alter the quality of life of the dog, or prevent it from being of pet quality, Two Rivers Labs will provide the buyer with a puppy of the same value, chosen by the breeder, upon availability. All of what has been said above is contingent upon the new owners(s) providing a letter of verification from the examining veterinarian. The new owner is also required to have a microchip inserted in this pup in question for further verification and a copy of this be sent to the breeder. Any correspondence about this pup must include this chip number and we will exercise our right as the breeder to have a veterinarian of our choice examine all documentation about this pup.

Furthermore, it is noted that Two Rivers Labs assumes no  monitary reponsibility for this dog once it has left the premises. This includes veterinary medical expense, mortality, landlord’s disapproval, allergic reaction to puppy, family disagreement, behavioral/training difficulities, mistreatment of dog, accidental poisoning or trauma or any other reason not specifically stated above. If for some reason one of these problems should arrise and you find youself wanting to place your dog in new home, we ask you contact us first. Our main concern here is that none of our dogs under any circumstances end up in the dog pound or other type of animal shelter. There are always other options and we would be more than happy to help.
Additionally, your new puppy is guaranteed until it reaches of two years of age against severe crippling hip dysplasia. In an instance where severe crippling hip dysplasia is diagnosed a replacement puppy will be provided so long as the new owners take the steps step set forth in this contract. First of all the owners must immediately notify Two Rivers Labs of the diagnosis. The owner must then provide x-rays for submission to OFA(the Orthopedic Fougndation for Animals). If the diagnosis of severe crippling hip dysplasia(dysplasia so extreme that it prevents the dog from being a functional family companion and that surgery or euthanasia is required)is confirmed, a replacement puppy of equal value, of the breeders’s choosing, will be provided. This replacement is contigent on the owners providing a written statement from their veteriniarian that the dog is not and has never been overweight for its bone structure and that no evidence exists that the puppy was overstressed or over exercised during this important developmental time of its life. Furthermore, the veterinarian must indicate there have been no signs of abuse, neglect, or past injuries that could be the cause of such dysplasia. In cases where the exchange is to take place and the owners of the dog to be replaced have chosen surgery rather than euthanasia, they must also provide written documentation that the dog in question has been spayed or neutered and has never sired or whelped a litter. It is agreed and understood that in all instances outlined above the only applicable refund is a replacement puppy. In no cases will there be monitary refund. If the breeder feels the puppy has been the victim of an accident, abuse, or neglect, the health warranty will be void.

The buyer agrees to maintain this dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites, and preventative medication. Veterinary records must be provided to breeder if requesting a replacement. The puppy is to be fed a high quality dog food of which there are many out there and may vary in different areas of the county, and have fresh water available and adequated shelter. If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, or if the breeder feels the puppy has be the victim of abuse or neglect, the health warranty will be void.

Two Rivers Labs reserves the right to first pick of litter for our breeding program. First come, first serve, first deposit gets first pick of litter, and so on there after.

When shipping is require, it is at the buyer’s expense. All puppies will have first shot, wormed, and will have a veterinary health certificate if being shipped by air. Shipping fees include: air fare, shipping crated, health certificate, and travel to the airport. If a puppy must be returned all shipping and transportation costs are at the expense of the buyer. The buyer agrees to maintain the dog in a humane environment and to properly train and care for the dog. Under no circumstances shall Two Rivers Labs be liable to the buyer or to any third party for any consequential, incidental, or special damages resulting from or in manner ralated to the dog. Upon receipt of puppy all veterinarian care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the buyer.

This agreement is valid only for the original owner and is non-transferable.
